Ingredients
Ingredients:
1 oz dried nettles
4 cups hot water

Fresh lemon juice
Honey or maple syrup
Preparation
Place the loose nettles at the bottom of a French press, mason jar or other glass/ceramic
container. Pour the hot water over the herbs and let steep for at least 4 hours or preferably,
overnight. Once it has cooled to room temperature, you can cover and place in the refrigerator.
In the morning, strain off the nettles using a cheesecloth or sieve. Add the lemon juice and
honey or maple syrup, if desired.
Serve warmed in a mug or add to a glass with ice to enjoy cold. Keep refrigerated and drink over the next 3-4 days.
